Product introduction 

Mildew is widely distributed in nature in a large variety, and most of them can cause mold deterioration of feed, which greatly reduces the nutritional value of feed and makes the palatability of feed worse, thus the application of mould inhibitor in feed is necessary and vital.

Propionic acid is widely recognized as a mould inhibitor for its effective inhibiting function to various mildew. However, due to its strong volatility and short effective time, it needs to be combined with propionate for better performance and longer functional period.

BSB1840 is a kind of mould inhibitor in solid form designed for animal feed. Its main ingredients are Propionic acid and Ammonium Propionate. It can effectively inhibit the growth and metabolism of mildew, reduce the production of mycotoxin, so as to prevent the feed from mildewy deterioration and extend the storage time.

Recommended Dosage

The dosage of BSB1840 (kg/t) is related to feed moisture, ambient temperature, relative humidity, storage time, etc. Please check the following table for details:

Dosage should be increased appropriately when condition of water migration changes, e.g. high ambient

temperature or humidity, large temperature difference between day and night, moisture content of raw materials

is uneven and higher than normal, raw materials are not fresh or has started to get moldy, long transportation or

storage time, etc.

 Physical Properties Of Products

White to light yellow color powder with strong acid flavor. Good fluidity, no caking and no dust. It can be compatible with other feed materials without affecting its fluidity or changing the nutritional value of feed components.

25kg/bag. Packed in PP bag with PE lining.

Shelf Life And Storage Method

Product should be kept in a cool, dry and shady place. Products that have not been used up after opening shall be kept sealed in bags.

12 months in original packaging.

Operators are advised to wear rubber gloves, dust mask and goggles to avoid slight irritation of acids.
